Parenting Plan

The Georgia Courts have changed certain requirements for documents that must be completed in Family Law cases that involve children. The Parenting Plan was implemented most recently which is due upon completion of a case. Whether you reach a resolution with the opposing party or the Court decides custody issues following a hearing, a Parenting Plan will be put in place. You can see from a quick review of this outline of the Parenting Plan how complex and detailed it is. We believe that it is always best to try your best to reach a resolution to this issue to ensure that you have some input into what visitation will occur, under what conditions and how often, among other things. Your RIGHTS as a PARENT are especially important!
